Step 2. Use the knurled wheel in the centre of the tool to adjust the distance between the two teeth of the Screw Back Removing Tool until
they fit snuggly into two opposing indents on the watch back.

Step 3. With the teeth engaged in the notches on the back of the watch unscrew the watch back in an anti-clockwise direction.

Step 4. Once the back has loosened off it is easier to continue to unscrew it using your fingers rather than the tool.

Step 5. With the watch back taken off you can then remove the battery.

Step 6. In this watch the battery is held in place with a spring clip. Push this to one side with your thumb nail and using a
small screwdriver or similar tool.

Step 7. Then ease the battery out of the battery compartment. For information on how to remove batteries held in

Step 8. Once the old battery has been removed, insert the new battery into the battery compartment trying to avoid touching the faces of the
battery. Plastic
tweezers can be useful for this part of the process. Press the battery into place.

Step 9. Check that the watch is working - if not check the section on
Problems afer replacing new battery. If the watch is working you can now replace the watch back. Place the watch back on to the watch case, making
sure that you don't trap the o-ring seal between the watch back and the case and screw it in a clockwise direction.
