Ordering and Payment
Ordering is simple:
a) Choose the item you wish to purchase from our site pages and click the 'Add to Basket' button. The
contents of your shopping basket will be displayed in the window.
b) Click the 'Continue Shopping' button to select other items for purchase, or remove unwanted items from the shopping cart by clicking in the box
to the left of the unwanted item and then clicking the 'Remove Selected Items' button at the top of the page.
c) Once you have all the items you wish to purchase in the shopping cart, select the appropriate shipping rate;
UK - 1st Class
UK - courier for motorcycle batteries (UK mainland only)
UK - Special Delivery
Irish Republic
Europe
Please note we cannot accept orders from countries outside Europe. Regretfully we cannot ship Motorcycle Batteries outside Mainland UK,
this means we cannot supply motorcycle batteries for delivery to Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and other off-shore UK addresses.
d) Please check our Terms & Conditions and then click the 'I accept the Terms & Conditions' box to proceed with your order.
e) Click the 'Calculate Totals' button and the 'Pay by Debit/Credit Card' button will appear at the bottom of the shopping cart, click this button to use
our on-line ordering facility which will allow you to make payment by credit card securely via WorldPay.
Alternatively, you can use the printable order form. Print off the order form, fill in the items you require and post to us with
the correct remittance using either a cheque or postal order. Due to the extra administration overhead of postal orders,
there is a £4.00 minimum charge for postal orders.
Please note that due to the administration overhead, we cannot accept telephone orders for an order value which is less than £10.00 (inc VAT).
Shipping
All orders are shipped by Royal Mail First Class post (except for motorcycle batteries.) Orders for delivery in the UK and totalling £15.00
(including VAT) or less will incur a charge of 99p for postage and packing. Orders for delivery in the UK totalling over £15.00 (including VAT) in value will be
shipped free.
Motorcycle batteries can only be supplied within Mainland UK and are delivered by courier. Please note that products delivered by courier
need to be signed for. If nobody is available to sign when the courier attempts delivery, the courier will leave a card explaining that the
item will be available for collection at the local depot and that they will attempt re-delivery in the following days. The battery will be
returned to us after 7 days and re-delivery after this period will cost a further £6.95. If the courier is unable to deliver because a delivery signature
could not be obtained and you subsequently cancel the order we will refund your purchase less the delivery costs incurred by Watchbattery UK Ltd of £8
£15 for Scottish Highlands).
Irish Republic and European shipping charges over £2.50 in value include the cost of 'International Signed For' postage and cover the costs of the extra
administration required for processing overseas orders. This option does not apply to the UK.
Please note we are unable to accept orders from outside Europe.

Delivery Schedule
Orders received before 3.30pm on a working day will be despatched the same day, providing the product is in stock. You will receive an email confirming receipt
of your order, provided you have supplied us with a valid email address. If the goods are not in stock we will let you know via email that there has been a delay
in sending your order. We will endeavour to get these items to you within 2 weeks of receiving your order. If the delay in delivery is unacceptable to you we will
cancel your order and payment or, if payment has already been processed, we will refund any payment taken once you have advised us that the product(s) are no longer
required.
Missing Deliveries
All UK orders are sent out by Royal Mail 1st Class post, Special Delivery or courier and should reach you by the following working day. We may, at our discretion,
use Recorded Delivery. An order is considered lost by the Royal Mail if it has not been delivered within 15 working days. If your order fails to be delivered,
please notify us by telephone (01793 778127) or email using our contact form.
We will assist you with information you require to claim compensation from the Royal Mail or courier service for lost or damaged items. Royal Mail allows for a
maximum claim value of £34 on items posted 1st Class. For higher value items we recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery which allows you to track the progress of your
package online and insures your goods for up to £500.

Tax Charges
WatchBattery (UK) Ltd is VAT registered. VAT invoices/receipts are issued automatically
with despatched goods. Our VAT registration number is 815935217.
Damaged Goods
All deliveries should be inspected on arrival.
If there are any signs of damage you should inform us as soon as possible but within 7 days of receipt of the product. We will always replace
damaged goods so long as you inform us within 7 days of receipt.
Returns Policy
The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling)
Regulations 2000
Since 31 October 2000 UK consumers have the right to cancel their order within 7 working days of taking delivery.
The customer has the right to inspect the goods and must make sure they remain undamaged and unused. Cancellation must be in a written form,
either in the form of email or letter sent to our address as listed on the contact page of this site. All goods must be returned with packaging
intact.
We can only offer a refund on products returned to us if they are returned in re-saleable condition and have not been removed from their
original packaging.
Please return products to us with a note explaining why the product is being returned and giving your invoice number, this will allow us to
process your returned item and refund as efficiently as possible. Items are returned at the customer's cost, we will refund to you the cost of
the unwanted product less any delivery or postage costs.
Privacy Statement
We are committed to
protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection
Act 1998). We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second,
to provide you with the best possible service.
We will never pass your details on to a third party and will only contact you in matters relating to your order, or with
information on special offers and new products.
The type of information we will collect about you includes:
your name
address
phone number
email address
how you heard about us
and the products you have purchased
We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.
The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us.
If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely.
Cookies are not used by us on this website.

a complaint about our goods, services or any other aspect of our business, you can email us using our contact form. We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 2 working days and with this acknowledgement
we will give an indication of the time we are likely to take in resolving the matter. We will keep all correspondence confidential.

weekdays, 8.30am until 5.00pm. Telephone calls to this telephone number are charged at the standard UK national rate.
