The Casio WVA-470DE-1AVEF Wave Ceptor watch features a new Solar Powered Combi display with automatic accurate time adjustment by radio signal, which means it will update itself for British Summer or Winter time, as well as updating within the Central European time zone via world time mode.
The Casio WVA-470DE-1AVEF Wave Ceptor watch features:
- LED illumination - A light-emitting diode (LED) is used to illuminate the watch face.
- Solar Powered - A solar cell provides power for operation.
- Radio Controlled - DCF/MSF Radio Signal Receiver - A built-in radio signal receiver ensures that the exact time is displayed across much of Europe. Watches with this symbol can pick up radio signals from Germany (Frankfurt) and Anthorn in Cumbria (UK).
- Neobrite coating - A luminous coating provides long-term illumination in the dark after only a short exposure to light.
- World Time - Displays the current time in major cities and specific areas around the world.
- Stopwatch function (1/100 - 100 min.) - Accurate measurement of elapsed time with the touch of a button. The fraction indicates the unit of measurement, while the time figure indicates the maximum time measurement.
- Daily Alarm, Hourly Time Signal - The daily alarm sounds each day at the time you set. The value indicates how many daily alarms are available. The hourly time signal causes the watch to beep every hour on the hour.
- Battery Level Indicator - Indicator shows the current battery level.
- Full Auto Calendar - Allowances are made automatically for months of different lengths, in case date corrections for leap years are required.
- 12/24-hour Timekeeping - Times can be displayed in either a 12-hour or 24-hour format.
- Spherical Glass - The surface of the glass is rounded.

- Safety Catch - Always reliable: This watch has a particularly secure safety catch, which helps prevent the strap from opening by mistake.
