What you get is a C-size converter and a Hybrio AA rechargeable battery that fits inside making it into a C-size battery. So you don't need a special battery charger that takes C-size batteries, you can use your existing AA / AAA battery charger.
The converter and AA battery is also that much lighter than the C-size battery so you'll be saving on weight as well.
