The Camlink Ready-To-Go PP3 9 volt rechargeable battery arrives ready charged for immediate use and if you don't need to use it immediately it will retain its charge for over a year! But unlike normal alkaline or lithium batteries once it has been used it can be recharged and used again and again, up to 1000 times - saving you pounds on your battery costs and reducing battery wastage.
The Camlink Ready-To-Go PP3 battery has a capacity of 200mAh and can be recharged in a standard NiMH charger.
Not suitable for smoke alarms. Smoke alarms should use alkaline or lithium batteries as the circuitry in the alarm is designed to detect the more gradual decline in voltage these give compared with the sudden drop with rechargeables.
The PP3 battery is also known as PP3, K9V, KA9, BLOC, LR22, MN1604, CLR6, ND65V, 1604AU, 6LR61, 9V, X22, 1604, 4022, 6F22, 0068, A1604. However as stated above the rechargeable battery is not suitable for replacing any of these batteries in a smoke detector.
