The battery will be returned to us after 7 days and re-delivery after this period will be payable by the customer at an additional £8.00. If the courier is unable to deliver because a delivery signature could not be obtained and you subsequently cancel the order we will refund your purchase less the delivery costs incurred by Watchbattery UK Ltd of £8 (£15 for Scottish Highlands). Our VAT registration number is 815935217.Delivery ScheduleOrders received before 3.30pm on a working day will be despatched the same day, providing the product is in stock. You will receive an email confirming receipt of your order, provided you have supplied us with a valid email address. If the goods are not in stock we will let you know via email that there has been a delay in sending your order. We will endeavour to get these items to you within 2 weeks of receiving your order. If the delay in delivery is unacceptable to you we will cancel your order and payment or, if payment has already been processed, we will refund any payment taken once you have advised us that the product(s) are no longer required.ROYAL MAIL INDUSTRIAL ACTION: During periods of industrial action by Royal Mail staff, deliveries may be delayed. Please allow extra time for the delivery of your order. Missing and Delayed DeliveriesAll UK orders are sent out by Royal Mail 1st Class post, Special Delivery or courier and should reach you by the following working day. (We may, at our discretion, use Recorded Delivery.) If your order fails to be delivered, please notify us by telephone (01793 778127) or email using our Contact Us form. We will assist you with information you require to claim compensation from the Royal Mail or courier service for lost or damaged items. Please note that an order is not considered lost by the Royal Mail until 15 working days have elapsed. The Royal Mail allows for a maximum claim value of £39 on items posted 1st Class. For higher value items we recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery, which allows you to track the progress of your package online and insures your goods for up to £500. If you need to claim from the Royal Mail for lost or damaged items you can do this online or download a printable form (P58) from Royal Mail Lost ItemsPlease note that if we process the claim on your behalf we will only receive back from the Royal Mail the cost to us of the items sent. We will then only be able to use this to resend the order to you and will not be able to refund your original payment. Non-Delivered OrdersPlease ensure that you enter a full and correct delivery address for your order. We cannot be held resposible for orders that are not delivered where a full and correct delivery address has not been given. If the order is returned to us by the Post Office we will re-send the order to the correct address on receipt of the correct additional postage fee for redelivery. If you no longer require the ordered item(s) we will refund your payment less postage and packing costs incurred by us and a restocking fee of up to 20% of the total product value. Damaged GoodsAll deliveries should be inspected on arrival. If there are any signs of damage you should inform us as soon as possible but within 7 days of receipt of the product. We will always replace damaged goods so long as you inform us within 7 days of receipt.Faulty GoodsWhere a product is covered by a manufacturer's 1 or 2 year warranty we will replace the product should it prove faulty within the first 6 months from date of purchase, unless the item was purchased as a Clearance Item - see following section. If a fault develops outside the first 6 months from the date of purchase the warranty claim must be made directly to the manufacturer.Items that do not come with a manufacturer's warranty such as alkaline batteries, watch straps and small batteries will be replaced, should they prove faulty within the first 30 days from date of purchase, providing they have been used in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. We will use our discretion in offering replacement items or refunds where we believe the product has not been used within the manufacturer's specifications. Please ensure that you use the correct postage (this will usually be Large Letter or Packet rate) and we recommend that you obtain a Proof of Postage Certificate from the Post Office. Items posted without this certificate are done so at your own risk. We will include a refund of the postage you have paid to return the faulty item with the replacement goods. Clearance ItemsClearance Items include end of line products and out of season items at bargain prices. They are new products, not returns or refurbished items. Because they are end of line or out of season items, they are sold on the condition that should a product purchased as a Clearance Item develop a fault at any time within the warranty period, the warranty claim must be made by the purchaser directly to the manufacturer and not to WatchBattery (UK) Ltd. WatchBattery (UK) Ltd can only provide a replacement or refund on a Clearance Item if the product is shown to be faulty on receipt.Returns PolicyThe Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 give UK consumers the right to cancel their order within 7 working days of taking delivery. The customer has the right to inspect the goods and must make sure they remain undamaged and unused. We can only offer a refund on products returned to us if they are returned in re-saleable condition and have not been removed from their original packaging.Unwanted Goods If you wish to return goods to us please use the Returns Slip on the bottom of your invoice, or contact us either by telephone (01793 778127) or using our Contact Us form to obtain a Returns Code. Exchanging Goods If you wish to exchange the product you have ordered please use the Returns Slip on the bottom of your invoice, or obtain a Returns Code from us as above, and include £1.00 (or equivalent in postage stamps) with the returned goods towards the return postage of the correct item. Please ensure that you use the correct postage to return the unwanted item (this will usually be Large Letter or Packet rate) and we recommend that you obtain a Proof of Postage Certificate from the Post Office. Items posted without a Proof of Postage Certificate are done so at your own risk. Incorrectly Supplied Goods If we have sent you an incorrect item, please use the Returns Slip on on the bottom of your invoice, or obtain a Returns Code as above, and return the item to us using the correct postage and obtaining a Proof of Postage Certificate from the Post Office. On receipt of the goods we will send you the correct goods and refund the postage you have paid to return the incorrectly supplied item to us. Please note however that it remains the customer's responsibility to arrange and pay for the return of the battery to us in order to receive a full refund of the initial purchase price. Exchanging Motorcycle Battery If you have ordered the wrong motorcycle battery and wish to exchange it for the correct battery, please contact us either by telephone (01793 778127) or using our Contact Us form to discuss the best method of return and the correct replacement. Please note that there will be a charge to the customer for the collection of the unwanted battery even if this is collected by the courier when the replacement battery is delivered. Incorrectly Supplied Motorcycle Battery If we have sent you the wrong motorcycle battery, please contact us either by telephone (01793 778127) or using our Contact Us form to discuss collection of the incorrectly supplied battery and delivery of the correct battery.
